California Pizza Kitchen - San Diego

We decided to give this restaurant another try after feeling unwelcome at a different location. The service here was excellent, and I wanted to thank the manager personally but was too busy. My 8-year-old child was thrilled to use a gift card to pay for her own meal. The food was delicious, and we were accommodated as requested for a medical reason, with no hesitation from the hostess (although we still don't understand why part of the restaurant was closed). Overall, it was a great experience, and Kristin was incredibly kind and helpful. My child really enjoyed her company and wants to come back just to see her.

I went for lunch and arrived a bit early. The staff promptly seated me and cleaned the booth. I met up with a friend and we enjoyed a delicious meal from the special menu. I had the Tomato Bisque with a Turkey Club sandwich, while my friend had the same with a salad. Both dishes were fresh and tasty! It was my birthday, so I treated myself to a delicious butter cake with ice cream. The restaurant is fantastic, with delicious food and excellent staff.

Kyce was an excellent server. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our dining experience. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-maintained.

Awesome food. Will definitely be returning for nice dining and amazing mixed drinks.

Update: Went back for dinner today (about a week after the last time). The experience was equally as great. I had the Rib eye this time WOW!! Best steak I've had in many years! First time at this CPK. Great experience!! Kyle, the bartender, waited on us... he rocked!! He has a fabulous attitude and is an awesome waiter! We sat at the counter and watched Brian the manager (so impressed we asked for his name) prep All the meals for the entire restaurant. We've never seen that level of organization anywhere amazing! The pizza chefs were also incredible... never missing a beat. Overall, this team is a well oiled machine!
