Butcher Shop Steakhouse San Diego

I visited Butcher Block for the first time and found it to be decent, but not exceptional. I was taken aback by the uniforms worn by the waitstaff. The food was enjoyable, but the total bill came to $202.47 for two people. I don't think we will be returning in the near future.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at The Butcher Shop last night. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday (it was our first time dining there) and were pleasantly surprised when our waitress informed us that a man sitting across from us had paid for our meal. Despite never speaking to us, the gesture was incredibly generous and touching. The service and food were both excellent, though I did find the waitresses' mini skirts to be a bit immodest.

Really enjoyed our meal. Romantic, good service and the ribeye was cooked to perfection.

Food was very good but my salad was prepared wrong, had to redo, out lobster Mac n cheese came with no lobster, had to fix, and my wife ordered well done filet that was pink and had to go back on grill. Waitress was a little slow, other wait staff were very good.

The experience at this restaurant was fantastic, with excellent food and top-notch service. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
