Bull's Smokin' Bbq - San Diego

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. As out-of-town visitors for a convention show, we were excited to try this highly-rated hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint. However, upon arriving at 8 PM (well before their stated last call for food at 8:45 PM as stated on the website... , we were informed that the kitchen was closing. Despite seeing other customers still seated, we were turned away and advised to visit the Italian restaurant instead. The customer service was lacking, and it left us feeling frustrated and hungry.

I really enjoy having lunch at this place, the patio they have in the back is very relaxing and charming. The food is excellent if you are into barbecue food. Strongly recommendFood: 5/5

Mac and cheese was amazing! They crumble cheeze its on it! And I really loved the cole slaw, it has candies nuts, the extra crunch was extra special. The beef ribs were a little dry for my liking, but the brisket and pork ribs were great. Love their spicy bbq sauce too!

Went there for the first time always drove past. I ordered the tri tip full with beans and Mac and cheese and a drink. It was real good staff was very nice place was clean, didn't take long fir my food to arrive. I'll be going back soon. Yummy. Like a good BBQ place.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to get in, you can use outside seating.

The food is good. Our favorite was the gumbo. There is large patio seating area that is dog friendly (follow the paws on the ground). The price is very reasonable. Parking is tough street parking only.Food: 4/5
