This is an awesome sandwich joint. Great vibe and fun environment. Excellent sandwiches and overall experience.

As I entered I was pleasantly greeted by a very nice employee. I was interested in a sandwich and asked for a recommendation. Her favorite was the cheesesteak. I love a good cheesesteak. I ordered this sandwich to go. As I began eating I became more and more disappointed, primarily due to the meat. Instead of it being thin shaved and easy to eat it was inch and a half long rectangles of chewy fatty steak strips. It got to the point after a few bites I decided it made more sense to throw out the sandwich and go somewhere else. In my opinion in order for a restaurant to be great, they need to master three things 1. Food quality 2. Service 3. Taste/presentation Food quality was a zero! I?m pretty certain that steak was frozen and bought pre-cooked and cut. Why would you do this? If you can?t prepare a tasty fresh item don?t have it on the menu. My review is for this one sandwich and one experience. It?s quite possible that their other items are of a higher quality. If they end up offering a better version of this sandwich I would be happy to try again and update this review . In the meantime I would avoid this place there are many other delicious similar priced lunches. Knotty barrel has a filet mignon sandwich that is delicious.

Love this place! The food is delicious and healthy. One of my favorite places in San Diego. The service is great and you can tell they have a passion for food and bringing people together.

A deconstructed reuben sandwich, no bread, to meet my low carb requirements, this is the best reuben sandwich I've ever had despite the fact that there was no bread

My boyfriend and I shared the Cubano Clasico and The 47, both were very tasty. Definitely coming back.
