Thai Dara 2 - San Clemente

I called the restaurant to ask for their recommendations, and they suggested the pad Thai with shrimp. I took it to work, but I was very disappointed to discover that the shrimp was overcooked to the point of being inedible. I ended up spitting it out and only ate the noodles, which were dry and unsatisfying. It was a major letdown, especially since I'm flying out after work and wish I could get a refund. What a waste of my dinner! While the service was friendly, the food really needs to improve.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. I especially loved the Thai BBQ chicken and the fried cheese wontons. This was my first visit, and I can't wait to come back with friends soon. Food: 5/5

Food was dank, service was rude and not good communication. Called in an order and it went to the other location and they refused to cancel/remake it. Ended up wasting 25 minutes driving all the way thru dana point… booooFood: 4/5

The food was okay but the vegetables weren't cooked all the way through and hard to chew. The curry tasted great though. The service was perfunctory and chilly but efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant but not inviting enough to want to stay longer after dining in.Parking: Plenty of parking in a plaza.
