Pizzeria La Carbonaia

We’ve been to a lot of fancy local restaurants and many have been perfectly fine. But we wanted an unpretentious pizzeria and this place was exactly that. The pizza was swell, the wine just fine, the salad perfect. And to top it all the pricing was most reasonable. Oh, and the service was perfect as well. It will become our regular joint.

We went to carbonaia in our last day of our vacation,and we did well to go there because with that experience we could complete full experience of our vacation . Pizza was super and I tried also “SPAGHETTI SCOGLIO -i think that is the name of the dish” it was just WOW. Thank you again for you kind service and we’ll come back again for sure next year.Much love from Poland.

We wanted to have a pizza for lunch... but the pizzeria only makes pizza for dinner! So we gave the pasta with vegetables a try which was great... but not what we intended to eat in the first place. Mentioning it on the menu would be great! Never the less, the staff was nice and helpful.

We stumbled upon this great little pizzeria great food, super friendly staff and low key vibe. after meals in rome and florence, it was great to be the only english speakers in a local restaurant. cool small town feel but really good food. so happy we found it!!!

We returned here three times because the food was excellent, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. This is a favourite of the locals and fills up quickly after it opens at 7:00 so get there early or be prepared to wait for a table. Nothing fancy but terrific pizza, pasta and our favourite crostini misto which were a variety of breads with different sauces. Good value in house white and red. Not expensive beer. We loved the place and watched countless pizzas being taken out while we dined, so obviously it’s a local favourite too.
