L'osteria Del Dolce

This guy, the owner, definitely took advantage of us. He charged us 12 (twelve) euros for two scoops of ice cream (two separate portions, me even specifying I only wanted one small scoop). He quietly muttered the price to my partner so I wouldn't hear, presumably, and she felt obligated to pay. I would be interested in a response by your establishment. 1

Delicious, thoughtfully made, unique and delicious flavours what more could you ask for? Really something special.

After a quick lunch stop in San Casciano, we stopped at L'Osteria del Dolce. The owner/Gelatician is absolutely passionate about his product and truly enjoys explaining how he makes his Gelato and the few ingredients he uses, and then he explains each flavor. We can vouch for the lemon, the chocolate and the vanilla. Only 2.50 Euro for a small cup with two flavors. If you enjoy Gelato, you must go here.

Excellent gelato, made in house. We watched it being made. The dark chocolate was intense. The fruit gelatos were very fresh tasting and true to the fruit. There were a number of interesting flavor combinations.
