Staff are friendly and many are bi-lingual. In time of writing COVID-19 was still present with us, which made navigating hotel amenities a bit more complicated. Overall staff handled it well and everyone was very patient.
Great location. Our window opened on the lake and we had 24/7 chill breeze in our room. Staff were nice and courteous. One manager was very outgoing and helpful....Mr Christian. Great stay. Best luck.
Not a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star. The views are beautiful from the room. The beds was to soft for me. The wooden floors are all uneven and you could hurt a toe. You can open the shower door if the interior door to the bathroom is open. The room was noisy. You could hear the people outside and next door. Overall not bad. PS. NO AIR CONDITIONING in the rooms
If you look for a view, it’s great but it’s far from being a 5 star hotel and not worth the price. Breakfast is average as it is the restaurant food and rooms are old but big. It’s not that close to the city and a fair walk (15min) from the center.
My room had no electric outlets on either side of the bed whatsoever. So there is no way to charge your cell phone or laptop from the night table or from the wall at either side of the bed. Not even outlets at the base of the night table lamps. When asked, they brought two extension cords, one for each side of the bed. But they made me sign a paper that I will pay for the extension cords if removed! Is this five stars? Maybe, if, you have the nerve to ask for power by the bed! Also when I checked in, they gave me a room with scaffolds outside the window, blocking the lake view. If they had notify me in advance. I would have cancelled, because there are plenty of nice hotels in Bariloche without scaffolding. Who wants to pay 5-star prices to see scaffolds for a lake view? Finally they gave me another room, smaller and with no coffee machine, with a small credit, but any hotel -5-star or not- should provide the advertised room or should notify guests in advance that there are scaffolds or construction. So I'd say maybe 3 stars, easily fixable to higher stars -if they fix it-.
