Pizza was incredibly bad. I have the Calabresa I believe and the Salami/Pepperoni was incredibly hard and almost inviolable. Mozzarella was fine, and the tomatoes were fine, but still, I expected better. Cost me 2400 Pesos or so with a litre of Andes, but it's not worth price at all. I thought for 1800 Pesos I would get a good meal, but unfortunately I was wrong. Maybe I was naive, because I'm in Bariloche, which is a bit expensive, but sure. It won't be back.
I can't believe this place has a 4-star rating, we'll never return here again and it's one of the worst restaurant experiences we had in terms of food quality. The empanadas were not only baked, but they tasted as if they were made a week ago and were only warmed up for us (meat and chicken). The American pizza had the cheapest sausages on them, the crust tasted like a microwave pizza and was also a great disappointment. In addition, the waiters looked as if they were served in a funeral. I rarely write (or never?) 1 star reviews, but that was simply inevitable
This restaurant certainly has history, but in the present is a regular pizza place, I visited and I again have a good service, but the pizza was not so good, it was ok, so do not expect anything other than a regular “pizza mold”
Gluten-free pizza is hard to get to the right. Here it is. The crust was perfect and they also have good gourmet toppings like Arugula! I definitely go back. The service was good and the mood felt more like Italy than Argentina, but was beautiful!
We didn't realize that El Munro is a unique restaurant- the average age was older- we were expecting kids as it's pizza. The choice is phenomenal, including gluten free and lactose free options. Service is warm and lovely. The pizza dough was a bit thick, but that is preference- highly recommend if you want a change from steak.
