West Park Bistro - San Carlos

Park Bistro doesn't disappoint consistently fresh, well prepared food and friendly service the ambiance was welcoming and a perfect spot to catch up with former colleagues. Will definitely return and recommend.

I truly enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We started with the mussels, which were fresh and beautifully prepared. The prices were reasonable as well. We will definitely be returning!

I had the beet salad with chicken and the tomato bisque, and both were incredibly delicious. I definitely need to have that salad again soon. The staff was charming and attentive, making our lunch truly fabulous.

The staff was friendly, and the cocktails were decent, but the food left much to be desired. I tried the wagyu burger, which was reasonably priced at $17, but it was completely devoid of seasoning and lacked flavor. The bun was hard, and it came with a disappointing garnish of wilted tomato slices and a piece of lettuce. Honestly, the quality felt more like a diner than a proper restaurant. The Caesar salad was bland and tasted stale, with burnt croutons and served warm rather than cold as it should be. I also sampled the kid's pasta with meatballs; while the sauce wasn't bad, the meatballs were dry. The tables and chairs had a dated look that didn’t fit the rest of the decor. Although they seem to have a good number of regulars, I probably won't be returning.
