Emelina's Peruvian - San Carlos

A big disappointment on Valentine 's Day. Too! Brightly lit....too loud and the majority of the staff spoke no English. The menu was extensive featuring seafood ..we ordered a mixed seafood stew dish that was tasteless and totally uninteresting. The cheviche appetizer was good ....but we ordered it mild and it was almost too hot to eat. A huge contrast from the main dish in it 's bland ordinariness. We will definitely not be back. Ugh.

Emalina 's was such a delight! Good on your pocket book and also for your taste buds! The portions were huge...you can definitely take a to go container for later. I went with a large group and everyone loved it! We 'd go back again anytime!!!

If you like Perivian food, this is a great local find. The place has lots of charm and a great staff. Give it a try!

The food was good but seemed too dry. The special donuts dessert was outstanding, but it would have been nice if we could have ordered it early in the meal because it took about 15 minutes to prepare.

First time eating Peruvian food... Server was enthusiastic about explaining how food was prepared. Ambiance is basic for a little strip mall.. Very good service
