Can't really read the prices, as several of the menus have tape with blurry writing indicating the new, higher prices. We ordered the pepperoni pizza for 325, sadly there were sardines on it and we were charged 395. I picked off the sardines to the best of my ability but the flavor still leaked into the cheese. There is no german beer and there is no wine list or drinks menu. After the pricing fiasco with the food menu, I felt the waitress was making up the wine bottle prices as she saw fit. Sadly, la grotta is still a decent option in the food desert known as San Carlos.
When in San Carlos, a must visit place to experience authentic Italian dishes, forgot to tell my friends when we visited last time to try their parma ham pizza, my favorite. Sorry for the photo, will take better photos next time we visit.
Nice place to eat pizza, pasta, seafoods. Beer is very cold. Highly recommended if you are passing san carlos city, negros occidental
We got a few wrong turns finding this place as there are 2 other pins in Google maps that weren't correct. We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was friendly and efficient. We had pizza and it was very good. We would love to go back and try their pasta. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Carlos City.
I always go for pasta or pizza to order. Ambiance is pub-like. The servers are polite and kind.
