Societea Tea House Eatery - San Bruno

First time at this spot. Such a cute ambiance inside, and it's very spacious inside. There's a lot of tables to sit on. The menu has a little of everything. The workers are also very friendly nice : totally would go back!

Got the matchagato with boba it was pretty good! The boba consistency is chewy but not too soft and the tea taste was pretty strong. It was on the sweeter side, but that makes sense with the ice cream. Prices were pretty expensive, so taking a star off for that. Ambience is nice clean with good music (albeit maybe a bit loud). Overall: 4/5

Please update the description for the loaded fries, because I did not get what I ordered. I wanted waffle fries and kimchi, but my order had soggy shoestring fries and no kimchi at all. Even worse, it was doused in watery cilantro mayo which soaked into the fries and isn't mentioned in the description at all. Maybe pack mayos and sauces on the side to keep the fries crispy?

Decided to try this since I was picking up food nearby. I got the double stuf and my friend got the matchagato. My drink was like a blended oreo black tea. I typically don't go for sweet drinks like that but was craving it on a super hot day and it hit. The matchagato was really yummy as well as the taste of the jasmine green tea was strong. I came during an off time, so there was no wait and the staff took my order quickly. The drinks came out in less than 5 minutes. There's a LOT of seating inside as they also offer food items on their menu. I could see myself coming to meet up with friends to get drinks and hang out here.
