I have to say their congee, wonton noodles, rice noodle rolls, and especially for the rice noodle roll with flour crisp are really as good as what I have in my hometown. I have been trying all these kinds of food in the SF bay area and in south Cal. None of them can compare to them. And their price are actually very fair and cheap.
Checkerboard quality. Great prices. This place hustles, and the reasonably priced menu is big with a lot of unusual stuff on it. <br/ <br/ Much of the food is very good, some completely ordinary. A friend and I split Singapore style chow fun (very good...noodles cooked just right and seasoned for pleasure), a rice platter with beef in gravy (t.v. dinner quality...not obnoxious, just bland unremarkable stuff...filling though) and the chinese donut/rice roll, with chicken (quite good, but nothing extraordinary).<br/ <br/ I gotta go a few more times before I freeze my judgment, but at this point, Fat Wong's looks like a modest winner fine prices, crisp if impersonal service, and enough fetching dishes to be a worthwhile addition to one's options.
With a name like “Fat Wong’s” I knew it was going to be good.
I love this restaurant! Try it! you won't be disappointed!
The food quality has decreased lately. I usually dine in or order through DoorDash, but my recent order was different from what I am used to. The House Special Pan Fried Noodles were soggy and mixed in with the sauce, instead of being in separate containers. The Deep Fried Diced Tofu with Spicy Salt did not come with tiny salted fish as it usually does, and the Salted Fish Chicken Fried Rice was overly salty.
