There was a smell of drains but to be honest I think it is a resort problem and not the hotel problem as we smelt it around the resort as well. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from beach.Food was nice but not a great selection.
Stayed a week in this hotel in December 2022. First impressions, hotel was clean and has the potential to be a great hotel, however the food was a massive disappointment and definitely not to our taste, our friends were staying here too at the same time and felt the same. The all inclusive snacks outwith meal times were very limited to either ham and cheese sandwich or salad sandwich. This hotel could definitely do with rethinking their food. Drinks at the bar were good (very strong) but can only take paper cups back to the room. I would not say this hotel is a 4 star hotel in my opinion, very very basic.
My partner and I have recently returned from a week at Labranda Marieta and really did thoroughly enjoy ourselves. First impressions when we arrived was how modern and clean it was which was a good start. Our room was overlooking the street which was fine although we would have preferred a sea view. The room was again clean and modern, the shower pressure was good although there was only one setting (pulse) which was a little frustrating. No minibar, basic toiletries (hand soap dispenser Hair Body soap dispenser). Beds and pillows comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space (although more hangers needed as always). If you would like to borrow towels for the pool area you have to pay a ten euro deposit at reception. They also provide irons and very basic ironing boards (metal, no covers). The food offering in the restaurant was lovely, really fresh, lots of healthy options and variety. Would have liked to have seen more fresh fruit (mostly tinned) and sparkling wine offered daily as opposed to just weekends. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Entertainment was ok, although anything more extravagant would have been wasted as when we stayed it was mainly more mature and they didn 't really want to join in so to speak. Disappointed that the drag show was cancelled as we were really looking forward to it. All inclusive drink offering what you expect, when ordering a beer it comes in a very small glass, paying guests receive larger glasses which was frustrating. Roof top sunbathing area is nice. They do cram the sunbeds close together though as the other side with the sea view was shut off annoyingly. There is also a bar there offering drinks, sandwiches and pastries. It isn 't open in the evening though and it 's such a shame as its a pretty setting and the soft seating area is super comfortable. Despite the few criticisms we would come back to this hotel and did have a lovely stay.
We stayed here for a long weekend in January and loved it. The water was cold the first night, however this was due to a boiler breakdown that was fixed the next morning. We did not use the pool as it's not heated, although we were not too fussed about that. We never ventured anywhere near the spa. The room was spotless clean, tidy and serviced daily. The food was standard all inclusive style and we found it to be excellent and varied. The rooftop bar/chill area was great and was surprisingly quite well sheltered from the wind. The one criticism that we do have is that the seating in the bar area is very uncomfortable to sit at.
Excellent location close to beach, bars, bus and mini train. Roberto the 'professional ' entertainer welcomed everyone trying to include all in the activities with his cheery enthusiasm. Food excellent plenty variety different every night. Never seen such a display at the New Year Gala dinner. Excellent massages in the spa. All staff efficient and as friendly as language allows. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would have loved to stay longer.
