Romeo y Julieta

We're here on Thursday night. Their speciality of the day was either Chile en Nogada or a small pizza AND a glass of wine AND a bowl of soup AND lemon sorbet for 350 pesos. (approx. $16.50) We love Chile n Nogada and pay $26 for it at the Barrio Cafe in Phoenix. The wine was a very nice drink with white wine, chopped apples, grapes and strawberries with some soda. It is served in a large waterglass and was different and very refreshing. Mushroom soup was obviously made house and very good you can actually taste the mushrooms. Chile en Nogada was a little different from our usual but also very good. So everything was good, friendly staff, good value. We will definitely come back. They also had a talented singer when we were there. My wife said she remembered Ariana Grande.

Beautiful addition to the restaurant scene Chapala. Italian food best. Service was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the thin crust pizza with chicken and spinach. Competition prices. We'll be back soon.

Flavors you can't resist, try a triple loop to a regular event. Some diet flavor, some milk free, some cremosa, something for everyone. They will love the owner who still makes all Gelato on site. You can add half kilos or a kilo to...go, packed in a polystyrene box, making it home to your freezer without any softening.

During one of our many walks we came to this place. Good food and a reasonable price. Food inside or outside and the service is very attentive. Family run outfit and never rushed or two busy to visit to your every need.

Our friends who live here told us to go. an Italian guy, imports from Italy all ingredients and makes fresh there. wow, so smooth, silky, great flavors. then you can sit on the chairs nearby and people watch or go to the Chapala malecon and...walk along the lake. very nice area, very safe. don't miss this place, great gelato
