Wing Daddy's Sauce House - San Antonio

The buffalo sauce definitely does not belong on cajun wings, plain and simple. If I wanted buffalo cajun wings, I would have specifically ordered them. The menu doesn't indicate that the cajun wings come with buffalo sauce. On a positive note, the mango habanero wings were quite good, and the staff was nice and friendly.

I've visited Wing Daddy several times and usually had a good experience. However, after last night, I won't be returning. Everyone in our party received their meals at different times. My daughter finished her food, my son got his burger, but I had to get up and ask for my meal. When I finally received my food, it took 40 minutes to get my chicken strips. To make matters worse, the manager seemed dismissive of my concerns. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the michelada was not good either.

I visited the Banderas Rd location today, June 22, 2022. It wasn't very busy, and our server was quick to attend to our table. I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they arrived promptly, hot and not greasy. For my main course, I ordered the 5 Tangasaurus strips, which were fantastic. The manager even stopped by our table to check on us, which was a nice touch. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. After our meal, the manager gave us lunch punch cards, ensuring everything was satisfactory. Overall, it was a great visit to one of my favorite restaurants!

We ordered appetizers but ended up not receiving them while we waited. The wings we ordered also didn't taste like the two types we usually get – they were completely different. Our waitress was good, but our only complaint is that the beers took a long time to arrive. I noticed that the patrons at the bar received their drinks much faster. I had guests with me who we invited for the first time, and they were not impressed. Perhaps management should pay more attention to what's happening instead of just mingling. In my opinion, there needs to be more quality control, especially when it comes to the food.

I won't be returning. The food was okay, but we've had better experiences at a different location. The service was lackluster, which is understandable given the Friday rush. The restaurant had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of moldy cleaning rags, especially at the bar. The menu prices seemed outdated, and we weren't even informed when we asked for a printed menu. I didn't expect our two drinks and an appetizer to cost more than what was advertised.
