Willy B's Pizza - San Antonio

Wow, what an awesome spot I discovered on a scorching Texas day when the heat index hit 109 degrees. I was in desperate need of a refreshing craft brew and a pizza to satisfy my cravings. I ordered a Shiner IPA and a personal pan Buffalo Chicken pizza, and it was fantastic! The service was a bit slow, likely due to the heat, but the customer service was exceptional, and I had some great conversations with the bartender, Derrik. They have a wide variety of pizzas and other menu items, but if you're after a delicious pizza, this is definitely the place to go.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was charming. However, the staff didn't seem particularly happy, which felt a bit odd. Despite that, I would definitely return; they weren't unkind, just seemed a bit down. Overall, it's still worth a visit!

I ordered 2 large pizzas and nothing else. My total came out to $40 dollars. The pizza gets to my hotel and this is what I get. These are clearly small pizzas in a large pizza box. Unbelievable. I called the restaurant back, kindly told her the situation but she seemed lost and confused. So I asked for a manager, somebody comes to the phone saying he is not a manager and that all he could do is leave a message for the manager. I said there was no need to leave a message when all I want is my large pizzas if you can’t give me the large pizzas then I’ll take a refund. He also said he could not do the refund and told me I’m just trying to get free pizza. Which was the last thing I thought about. All I was thinking about was eating. I told him I will take my order right back since the restaurant was one block away from my hotel he then hangs up on me. Calling the restaurant and placing my order was a breeze so I did not think they would give me a hard time when I wanted to correct what they sent me.

Okay, so we stay next to River Walk and this is the closest Italian place to the hotel. I love Italian. It is a great mother and pop shop with 2 pages. Really great simple foods. I had the chicken basket and it was so hot. Like fresh from the frit hot brilliant. Large French Pommes In Onion Ring and a Toast. I mean, I didn't really need toast, but it was good. My waitress Rose was efficient. She didn't harass me at all, but if necessary checked for me and gave me great service. They have this special order Soda Pops, and I asked to rehearse 2 of them and they were made of small glasses so that they bought me bigger. Win. Try the black cherry or vanilla, they were both so good. I really wanted to try the pineapple cream soda, but they were out, guessing you were quite popular. Anywho, there is also one nearby

Amazing place to eat or breakfast, in the heart of San Antonio. Friendly staff, will come back and try all their pizza.
