Food was not that great either I mentioned to the manager the issues and he said I will take care of you and do something for you they took off like a whole $7 off our bill which was summer around $67 and then they still put an automatic tip of 15
Great food and service! The puffy tacos are delicious and the breakfast tacos are always good with the green salsa!
Took a friend. We had never been here. I ordered ala carte...guacamole..guisada taco on corn tortilla (first time ever had a choice on flour or corn tortilla with guisada)..puffy chicken taco..flan and sweet iced tea.The tea had a good taste and sweetened perfectly for me which is just sweet...not too sweet. I never eat this much. Usually about half that amount, but it was all so good. The decor was very nice and the seats were comfortable and supported my back well. My friend had recent surgery and commented on the chair comfort, too.She also ordered ala carte....unsweetened ice tea..guisada taco on flour tortilla and the carne asada taco. The guisada taco is beef chunks tender with light gravy. The carne asada was skirt meat chopped very small. Unfortunately it was very greasy and tough so she could not eat it. The waitress immediately exchanged it for a guisada taco which she said she loved the meat and tenderness. Now that I have tried some foods....I will be going back using the Drive Thru. I am hooked on the yummy tasting puffy chicken taco to which I added a side order of guacamole. The flan was very good!!! And sweetened iced tea. Oh my gosh....so darn good. So there's another meal for me coming again soon.??? Just wanted to add that their puffy chicken taco I like better than any other because the chicken is much more flavorful and it's not sopping wet like most. It's more of a drier consistency which was great so I could enjoy every bite of the puffy taco without it falling apart. Hope you enjoy??
The rice and beans lacked flavor, and the enchiladas were mediocre as well. I would not recommend this restaurant; I should have gone to Las Palapas instead.
I visited this restaurant for breakfast last Saturday. Upon entering, we were seated by a waitress as there didn't seem to be a dedicated host/hostess. The decor was impressive, with hand-painted images on wooden chairs, embroidered cushions, and a beautifully done mural. The service was good, with our waitress working hard to attend to the tables in her section. However, we noticed that service in another section was slower. I ordered the pozole, which was tasty but the pork pieces were small and there were too many fine shreds of meat. I wished for some jalapeño or cilantro to add more flavor. My companion ordered the pork chop plate, which he found under seasoned. We also tried a bean and cheese taco, which was delicious. Overall, we would return if we are in the area again.
