Everyone else in the group also liked their foods but we share the same opinion on the avocado toast. Their waffles are hands down amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good. I couldn't tell what they were trying to go for when it came to their decor. The staff and my family filled up the joy in the atmosphere. Our waiter, Alyssa, was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She remains pleasant through our individual request and adjustments. The outdoor area was better in appearance, huge as well.I could not get a peak of the event hall.Vegetarian options: They definitely had vegetarian options. The avocado toast, grits, etc.Kid-friendliness: They have the typical coloring menu and crayons. They also have booster seats and high chairs.Parking: The free parking definitely compensates for the wait list they have.
Food was delicious! Service was great. My husband said they had some of the best pancakes he has ever had in his life! The downside to this place is the line and amount of time you will be waiting. We went on a Thursday morning around 10am and waited around 30- 40 min to be seated. I can only imagine the lines during the weekends.I would definitely come back tho, even with the wait and all. Picture I took does not do the food justice.
Going to keep this short as possible.Magnificent Pancakes. Mouth watering pancakes. Delicious pancakes. No wonder why this place is so busy and wait is hour long. However they got it all taken care by joining waitlist online. Perfect family place. We ordered their popular Omelette Monterrey and Classic french toast. Each of it perfectly cooked and served right from the skillet.Definitely try their iced tea as they freshly brew it and taste damn perfect.
This has been the 2nd restaurant I have found organically that was on Diners, Drive-ins and Drives, and after visiting for breakfast after a family reunion, it is well worth a stop! I went super savory and a bit out of my comfort zone with the Jambalaya Omelet. Rice in an Omelet, really? Seriously, it 's filler surrounded by filler. How could it be good? Oh man, oh man, it was. The creole sauce has so much flavor. I had to add some cholula to mine, but that 's not an indictment. The menu does say it is mild. The inside of the omelet was also filled with flavor! Also ordered was the Oma 's favorite (that is easier to try and pronounce than the Apfel Pfannekuchen) and this single Bavarian 'pancake ' is worth the trip even from someone like me that lives on savory for breakfast. Yes it is sweet. Yes, it is huge. Yes, it is the best sweet breakfast you will ever taste in your life.We will be back next time in San Antonio.
This one's very popular. We had a late breakfast it was still hopping on a Monday. Service was good, even with a party of 5.My bacon cheddar omelet was delicious. Spouse enjoyed his Monterrey omelet with Verde sauce. Both were huge fluffy. The pancakes, hash browns toast looked good too. Coffee carafe made for a bottomless mug.Ample, no hassle parking. Recommended.
