The Lion Indian Cuisine - San Antonio

Amazing Indian food. Went to the lunch buffet and everything was hot and fresh!. So much flavor in all of the dishes. The service was great and the place is very clean. Highly reccomend, you will not regret it!

I went there seeing their rating, but highly disappointed with the options they have for buffet. Not so recommended for vegetarians. Not worth for the money we spent and the taste was average. Seeing less options for the first time in the buffet. They named it as biryani, but it is not even close to the name.Vegetarian options: Not many options for vegetarians

I tried in lunch buffet it's very good taste and having veg and non veg food like Indian manner food. It's a best place to try Indian food. Who want to enjoy Indian food you definitely try over they definitely you are going to like the taste foodVegetarian options: Having more vegetarian options to select in this lion Indian. I tried malai kofta, saag paneer and mixed curry. They also given small quantity of dal makahi to taste I like it. It's a good restaurant to taste veg and non veg in good Indian traditional manner they did food ????

We went at lunch on a Sunday and had a lovely experience. We went in early, before the church crowd got out.This was our first time going to The Lion and look forward to going back.The Lion has a full bar, which is something we look for when we go out to eat. We didn't get an adult beverage, so we cannot say how well they mix.The biggest reason we chose to go to the Lion is the buffet. We love Indian food, but can never remember what exactly we like, and Naan is a no brainer.We enjoyed a little of everything from the buffet. We did skip the desserts. The Mushroom Masala and a chicken dish that did not have a sign. (The chicken is the item in front of the Meatball dish in the video).We will be back to try The Lion at dinner so we can have an adult beverage.
