I had the grilled cheese, tomato and basil soup. Perfect for the cold day. The apple skillet was also delicious. Tim was great! talked me through the food and drink menu, helped me with my decision. Definitely going back for Steak on Friday.
Great food, nice atmosphere. It was very enjoyable and there was no crowd. Server was very professional. All checks can be paid with no cashier. Just pay via mobile QR code.
Excellent place for a celebration. The restaurant atmosphere is friendly and reflects a relaxed mood. The food was nicely presented and appetizing. The decor is modern and rustic which makes it interesting. Staff was helpful and friendly. We will choose this restaurant for our next celebration.
We’ve been going to this location for quite a while and have always enjoyed the food and drinks. Last night from our first encounter with the host to the server, it was not a good experience. The host asked us to wait while she wiped down a table. It was right at the entrance in a dark spot. The seat was still wet from the wipe down so I asked her to dry it off. She seemed bothered to do it. When I thanked her, she just walked away. They were out of a couple of draft beers on the menu. We ordered sautéed shrimp and pasta. The shrimp was just fried shrimp laid on top of the pasta. The pasta which should’ve been spaghetti was as if it was already cut up. Maybe to make it go further? My side/house salad was a plateful of colorless iceberg lettuce chopped up with a few tiny bits of cucumber and tomato. We were going to question the fried vs sautéed shrimp but after we were served, we couldn’t find our server. We asked someone nearby to get him for us but still he never came. When he finally did come around, he went to two other tables nearby but would walk the other way to leave so we couldn’t get his attention. By that time the shrimp and pasta had been sitting there so my husband finally ate it. Halfway through the meal the server finally came by and we expressed our disappointment with the dish and he said yeah, that’s how it’s made. If the shrimp is going to be breaded and fried, it should say that on the menu! If we wanted fried shrimp we would’ve ordered fried shrimp. When the server brought our bill, he just dropped it off and ran. I guess he was afraid we would demand an adjustment to our bill. The fact that anyone we encountered last night was very unconcerned with our dining experience makes it doubly disappointing. We pay way too much for dining out these days and if this is what we’re going to get then I’m done with Stonewerks. There are too many other places to go for quality food and atmosphere so that’s what we’ll do.
