Spicy Ginger Asian Cafe - San Antonio

My husband and I come here for lunch on Friday’s for the Panko fish! This food, on any day, is the best. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love Spicy Ginger!

Late lunch. Menu is pretty easy to figure out for some one like me who doesn’t eat this type of food often. There is a description under each menu item, I liked this. It’s not where you sit down and a waitress come to your table. The menu is on the wall and you order, pay, and have a seat. The food is brought out to you. The hot and sour soup was very good, pretty spicy. Had the orange chicken and the rib appetizer. The ribs had a good flavor and appeared to be lightly breaded? The Orange Chicken was sweet and spicy with a good sauce. They cook everything after you order it so it is fresh and flavorful. Service was very good. I would recommend!

This is an awesome place. The decor is 80's ish. But the food makes up for all of it. I ordered the Singapore Rice Noodle bowl. I had the normal spice. It was aawwssoommee. It disappeared before my eyes. While the place was older, the food was fresh with great taste. I will be back for more.

I always get the Pad See Ew with beef. I would prefer pork, but they don't offer it. I'm a wimp and can't handle spice, so I get Mild. The Vietnamese Spring Roll is also very good. I like to call my order ahead and pick it up at the drive-thru window. So convenient!

No fan. Chicken Patty for lemon chicken was razor thin old and hard. Make yourself a favor, drive another mile and go to Lee's kitchen and get a real lemon chicken, various sauces as well as an egg roll.
