Smashin Crab - San Antonio

The restaurant had a nice appearance from the outside, with plenty of outdoor seating. The manager, Derrick, greeted us at the door and our waitress, Treasure, took our orders. The portion sizes of the food were a bit smaller than usual, but Derrick quickly addressed the issue and ensured everything was taken care of. We ordered the lobster roll, which was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service at the restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future. Treasure and Derrick both received a big thumbs up from my family and me.

The Smashin Crab has the taste you don't know your seafood needs. The total price for the amount of food as well as the drinks for some of the group selection is perfect for a family or a friend. We ordered the oysters out of hand and the Magnolia cook with a Margarita flight. There are different Spice levels available, but if you don't mind, a small kick 3 is the way to go, and I'm usually on the lash page (0). Me? List whenever I am in San Antonio!

I'm going to cook a totally ingenious crab! I really enjoy the grocery shopping with the great atmosphere of this place. The servers are always on the point and the staff is very friendly. Ordering my favorite crabs are the King, Dungeness and Snow. I usually order the trinity sauce that is perfection for cooking. It is always a bonus that they have Abita Purple Haze, which is one of my favorite beers. Great food and fun that the whole family can enjoy. Yeah, it's expensive, but it's crab and that's expected. Very recommended!!

Feels like a hidden gem! It wasn't full but had a good sized crowd. We ordered a huge platter of food didn't think we could finish but did with 7 adults and 2 kids. We also ordered an appetizer that had fried calamari, fish, shrimp, and hush puppies. Food was really good the seasoning was on point for sure. One thing that I thought was a bit silly is they charge for butter we're already ordering a huge amount of food don't know why that can't be complementary. All in all a good experience but be prepared to pay a pretty penny.
