Pluckers Wing - San Antonio

As for the food, it was pretty much what I expected: cold and bland. The mozzarella sticks were the biggest letdown; I was simply looking for a regular cheese stick, not a block of cheese. It was just odd. Moving forward, I hope Pluckers can develop a more efficient system for takeout orders. You have my email and phone number, so let me know!

First of all, I have to say that Wing Stop has some serious competition. Pluckers serves the best wings I've ever had! The Spicy Lemon Pepper is absolutely amazing! You should also try the Fried Mac and Cheese—it's fantastic with the original sauce it comes with. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!

Pluckers offers excellent wings, and its wide selection of sauces and rubs distinguishes it from other chicken places. However, the customer service at the I-10 location has deteriorated over the past year. During my last couple of visits around 11 PM, parts of the bar were closed off, tables were unavailable, and certain drinks were missing — it was quite frustrating. When I inquired about the closures and the unavailability of drinks like the Batman, I was told it’s because they were closing for the night. Customers should not have to deal with inconveniences related to the restaurant’s closing schedule. Without customers, Pluckers wouldn't have a business, and management at this location should keep that in mind. Just ask Anheuser-Busch!

So me and my wife and daughter show up and they tell us it’s a 30 minute wait and I said go out and put our names down but I had looked around all over as they were gathering my information for the waiting list and there was five tables open and so I inquired about that. The lady at Front said those are for people that are not here they had called him before so me and my wife and daughter stay near the door and patiently waited and two out of the five tables no one was sitting out for 12 minutes and yet here we stand waiting. So I wasn’t happy about they were not organized whatsoever with their seating and then we get our food and it’s less than lukewarm which we had wings and fries and both me and my wife’s, wings and fries again were less than lukewarm. I will say the manager took off $10 so that was nice of them but either way the service was terrible. We just ordered two waters and a lemonade and it took them eight minutes to bring it to the table. Misty mentioned the waiter had two people that were in training, watching all of this go down.

The wait staff was super friendly, and the food was fantastic. It takes quite a while to get a table on the weekends and it takes a really long time to get your food. I'm assuming that is because everything is made very fresh... Super good food and worth the wait!
