Oasis Mexican Cafe - San Antonio

Authentic and cozy Mexican restaurant. I had a wonderful experience and the food was excellent.

I visited this place for breakfast this morning and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The food offers amazing value and everything is truly authentic. As a San Antonian who has lived here since childhood, I can say that this is the kind of Mexican restaurant where the locals dine! We affectionately refer to these spots as "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants because they focus on delivering delicious, quick meals rather than trying to impress you with fancy buildings or decor. This place has been a staple for decades, consistently serving great food. My favorite dish is the Huevos Rancheros, and their breakfast tacos are always a hit too. If you want to eat where the locals go, this is the place!

This little restaurant is truly an oasis in the middle of downtown. In a time of rising costs, they have managed to keep their prices very reasonable and the food delicious. We've moved out of town now, but when we come back, The Oasis is always one of our stops for lunch. Thank you, Oasis!
