Mk Davis - San Antonio

1st time in 16 years and nothing has changed, and that is in order. it is definitiw a repulsive atmosphere with all the neon biermarks glittering from the shiny, dark wood and decor. all staff are friendly and friendly for everyone. the prices are definitely reasonable and could actually be the same as 16 years ago? I ordered the DINNER size chicken fried steak that came with a warning from the waitress, and although it was big, it did not go home with me. the white cream gravur was just her standard cream gravur and nothing to write about home to mother over. interesting was the brot. can not say what it does differently, but it is easy. I'm still not sure about good or bad wise.. what I liked was that it wasn't all! really loved that, and the fleshiness of the steak itself. no dried thin steak that shrunk from the edge of the crust, that was at the end delicate, juicy flesh! the pommes were not big either. I will definitely try again, more from their varied menu filled with homestyle favorites. my hunting after the light yellow engraving continues?.

Haven't had MK Davis in forever waited about 40 min for a table party of 2 I almost left but glad I waited it out service was great scooner beers were good and cold and food tasted delish

This is an old school San Antonio restaurant/bar. Great place to stop for an ice cold beer, appetizers, or a full meal. Will definitely frequent this spot more often

This is a great bar and restaurant. I?ve been coming here since I was a kid. The staff is super friendly and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. The schooners here are a must! Ice cold beer poured straight from the tap, and into a frozen schooner is like a gift from heaven! Lol. My wife is also a huge fan of the their sangria. Various items from the menu are delicious. The bean and cheese nachos and onion rings as appetizers are tasty. The fried chicken and crispy dogs are also great to eat. My favorite plates are the fisherman?s platter and chicken fried steak. I?ll definitely keep on coming back. A San Antonio staple for sure!

Beautiful small restaurant with good food, ice cold spoons and great prices. We had the table of the fisherman, and Hamburger Steak and 2 ice-cold spoons of beer. This dinner was under $45.00.
