Maverick Texas Brasserie - San Antonio

Came for Date Night here. What a great place! We couldn't stop talking about it home. The waiter was amazing. Our server had excellent recommendations. Management was also very attentive and personal. Great drinks, and the food was seasoned and cooked for perfection! We had the quail for starters, the Snapper and the Onglette. Both dishes melt like butter in our mouth! We will definitely come back!

Absolutely delicious food outstanding service. I had the steak potato specialof the day, my potato was like a piece of art with thin toasted layersthat pulled awaylike an onion layer.. The almondine fish was light flaky. The Butternut squash is warm comforting. Our sald was fresh qith the perfect drizzle of dressing. The recommendation of wine pairings were spot on.

The menu is amazing. We?ve come a couple times for craft cocktails. Tonight we continued with craft cocktails but added butternut squash (amazing), and some Brussel sprouts along with green beans with blistered shishito peppers (in lieu of heavy dinner). Perfectly topped off with an after dinner coffee and after dinner cocktail. We recommend the Spanish house Cabernet (not a fan of the Bordeaux). Atmosphere is chill, high end with subtle tunes with a good vibe and low lighting. Big winner in my book. Take your lady. She won?t be disappointed!

An absolute must visit if you're in San Antonio. The food was delicious on every level from the salad to the main course to dessert. Service was friendly and superb. Portions were ideal for me, not too big and not too small. Wine selection was far more extensive than I anticipated.... always a good problem to have. I'm definitely coming back.

This is Amazeball! I was celebrating my birthday here and worth it. The desserts were fabulous, the dishes were so delicious, and the service equally great.
