Little Rhein Prost Haus - San Antonio

Okay, not sure where they're going. I read the reviews before going and was skeptical on all bad reviews. but unfortunately most of the critical comments have to agree on this location. service (other than getting a glass water when we sit down) was extremely slow, waited a long time for the two beers we ordered. we ordered to share the keilsalat and the prost house tower, as it had a rehearsal from all there and other objects in a single portion. big mistake instead of bringing us the salat, which was by the way too big to eat before the main course she brought it all together at a time. unfortunately the sausages (bratwurst, knockwurst, Polish and onlyemburg sausages) were crossed on a blacktop and foamed until they were carburized and all were dried out. what that tells me is that they don't have a cook, but a cook line that makes their meal. in consideration of the great location of this restaurant, they will not last long. it is a beacon, not a good restaurant. do not miss the previous owners.

After several years living in Germany. I was hoping to find a good German food. not the case. the jagër schnitzel engraving was terrible, very thick and no taste. the potato salad needed urgently edgy and speck. salt also. German food is very tasteful; that wasn't! the tower was a beautiful display, the sausages were ok. but that was really not a good German food. sitting outside was nice! beautiful furnished facility.

Although the service was decent, the food was inexpensive. we started with the pulpit that was pretty good, but it just went downhill from there. I ordered the chicken carving that was much smaller than the picture and not very tasty. my daughter ordered the chicken salad, which usually had iceberg salad and very few chicken pieces. overall I don't feel like we have good food, and the price was extremely high. I will not recommend that I return.

Restaurant looked very good and had a good atmosphere. we sat on our table for about 20 minutes and no one came to serve us so that we went to the end.

Great location and atmosphere. Excellent service! Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but everything but the yummy yummy pretzel was pretty mediocre.
