Lemongrass Thai - San Antonio

Food was very decorative and nicely presented. The items tasted fresh minus one star for no substitutions policy.

Ordered takeout and it was really good. They didn't have a problem subbing eggplant for pineapple in my curry, and there was a lot of chicken in the dish. Spring rolls were also good, but the sauce was more sour than sweet. This place is much better than the Thai places I've tried outside 1604.

We went back more than a month later... THEY RECOGNIZED US! Same server! Same amazing food,! Same clean friendly atmosphere! What to try? Start with the Lettuce Wraps. The salad with glass noodle is great, as is the peanut chicken and pad Thai. Just try EVERYTHING

We have been going to Lemongrass for Thai food for over 10 years. We always go at lunch and get the lunch special. Our favorites are the Pad Thai dishes. I always ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. Before Covid and the most recent inflation costs, Iusually got 5-6 good size shrimp and it was very good. A hearty bowl of chicken with rice soup would have lots of chicken andrice....not anymore!! And the prices have not decreased in any way! We are very disappointed in the portions of protein ineverything they serve! They are really skimping on everything! After 10 years, the last 3 being this steady decline in portionsizes, we will never go back!

I have been coming to Lemongrass for many years and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly and the ambiance is nice. I've tried just about everything on the menu by now (other than the seafood) andwhile I do have favorites I've never had anything I didn't enjoy. I'm a loyal customer for life.
