La Margarita - San Antonio

As a local, my views will be different. There is Much better mexican food all over SA! If you are looking for loud Mariachis and the feel of that, this is your place. My mango margarita didn't taste anything like mango, but it was good the other times I've gone. The seafood enchiladas were terrible: soggy, one small shrimp and no discernable scallops, tiny pieces of unidentifiable fish type texture. The salsa seems different and not nearly as good. It's thick tomato sauce, like an italian type sauce. I met up with friends from out of town, otherwise I would have certainly gone to lots of other places for great mexican food and margs!

1st time eating here from out of town. Was really impressed by quality service and good food!

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner at La Margarita. The food was delicious, our server was attentive, but not intrusive, and the ambiance was delightful. We will definitely return.

Music was at the appropriate level and food quality was excellent.

Our waiter never came back to refill our waters or ask if we needed anything after they brought our food. There were a lot of employees kind of standing around, but no one came over. The food and drinks were good, it was very hard to have a conversation when the mariachi’s were playing. We were yelling at each other to talk.
