Tabitha, the Assistant General Manager, was absolutely delightful—super friendly and provided us with excellent food recommendations. She even returned later to check if we enjoyed her suggestions (spoiler alert: we did!) and chatted with us about herself, La Madeleine, and the staff. Although we’re just passing through, we truly wish we could bring this place back home with us! P.S. Don't miss the pastries!!!!! The chocolate almond croissant is honestly unbeatable!
This restaurant is always an excellent choice for brunch. The bakery items are outstanding, and the food is served hot and fresh. The coffee is exceptional, with complimentary refills. I do miss the bread and jam that used to be available before the pandemic. My only wish is for more dairy-free options on the menu!
As we walked in not greeted by 2 workers but asked by 1 “can I help you “? Not having time to think or figure out where the menu was. I explained “sorry it’s our first time here” , then a girl pointed out “the menus right there” . Then wasn’t sure where to order. I just feel being a first timer they would be nice and give some direction, explain the ordering process, smile,something . Customer service has definitely gone down. We both were disappointed. The food was ok. Reminded me of hospital food , just bland. Not sure what the appeal is. And the cashier rolled her eyes when my husband gave her cash instead of card. Guess that meant she had to work. Just rude.
The man with a salt and pepper shaved beard had a black shirt, black glasses was very rude when I asked about Apple Pay, sorry I left my card at home and thank God for technology, sorry you were busy sir, checked my ID twice for my mimosa order. I guess thank you for the flattering youthful accusation! Unacceptable for his behavior to be very rude like I was asking a stupid question. I'm very annoyed that someone could be so inconsiderate, such as him. Please sir, I'm really sorry if I bothered you. I wouldn't be rude but happy and enjoyable at a job that has Apple Pay. Worse experience! For my first time!!!
I called to say I was at the restaurant for curbside and the girl acted like I called her personal phone with an attitude like why are you telling me you're here. It was so funny my kids were cracking up. I had to explain that I placed an online order and she's supposed to bring it outside. She said oh okay.
