Fred's Fish Fry - San Antonio

No drive thru at this location but employees here are friendly and down to earth!

I had to come to try Fred’s because had a cult following. The truth is that Fred’s is a whole in the wall that is worth trying. It’s worth the experience. I got 3 pieces of fish, fries, and 2 slices of bread for only around $7.00. You can’t beat that, I even have leftover fish. Their batter is different to what I’m used and honestly it’s good. I would go back for more low key fried fish.Parking: Tons of space and easy to get to

The only reason this food was graded as a “2 out of 5” was due to the breading tasting stale and over soaked. The quantity was good and the customer service was great, but the food wasn’t what I was expecting . Also, just please be aware that this is based off a take out order experience. Not a dine in order.

Ordered a family fish and a few chicken sandwiches. The food was hot, fresh and ready within 10 minutes of calling.

Always the same service, over 20 years of fish craving deliciousness.
