We showed up and it seemed a bit crowded, but there was surprisingly a lot of space inside. I had the Soooo Cali Hot Dog. My fiance ordered something Tex and got it in a lettuce wrap. Note: great place for gluten-free diets, as they can wrap most of their dogs and burgers in a lettuce wrap, no bun. Nice if you want to try something new. They also have a ton of beer on tap and a nice bar area. Can definitely see this as a hangout spot if we loved closer to the area. Everything was delicious and came out quick and hot. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
All this is is a yuppie hot dog place. I was extremely disappointed. I got the cowboy chili dog. Seems like it's served on Texas toast. Sorry I guess I'm still traditional, I still prefer a hot dog bun. Bread was soft. You might want to try and crisp it up a little bit more. The toppings on the hot dog, crispy onions chili and the other sauce. Does work well together. But that's about the only thing I enjoy. My hot dog was brought out lukewarm. After paying what I pay for my hot dog I expected it to be hot and fresh. As for the hot dog itself, it's definitely a step up from the BAR S hot dogs. But that's about it. It's not a very good hot dog at all. So 6.99 for the hot dog. Costco has a better hot dog than this place and it's .99 cents. Not my fault you chose Stone Oak to put a place. I got the tater tots as my side. 2.49 for a small little boat. 2.49 for my small drink. And supposedly this was happy hour and I was just under $12. Honestly I wouldn't pay over 8 for it. This will be my first and last time to go. Other places have better quality and better value. And your staff really isn't attentive to your customers needs. They seem bothered when you ask questions. I did include pictures so you can see the sizes.
This place will leave you stuffed to the brim and you won?t have much room for anything else. I ordered the Dat Brat and unfortunately, it didn?t have much flavor and all you could taste was the brown mustard. The Cowboy, which was also ordered, had a better flavor and was more of what was expected.
Don 't mind the negative reviews from the few bad apples . This place is great. The customer service is friendly. The bartenders will welcome you very politely. The food is fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered an impossible burger with basil, fried onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and jalapenos. The burger was seasoned very well, and all of the ingredients were fresh! The fries were hot, but could 've been crispier and seasoned, but I won 't beat them over the head for that. The sweet tea taste great as well. Overall this was a great experience at Dog Haus.
Staff were excellent? food was served cold unfortunately. Tried a bit of everything? Hot Chic sandwich was good but lacked pickles, sauce, etc? maybe just an off day? hot dogs were good but the chipotle and bbq sauce were way mayo heavy and stopped us from enjoying them. Over powered the good dog and bread. Cheeseburger was great. Fries were excellent and served warm, which we enjoyed. The star of the show were the tots with cheese. That cheese sauce is 10 out of 10. We may try again, but maybe during peak hours so that the food is fresh.
