Chicago Bagel And Deli - San Antonio

Swung by for lunch today and tried their Pastrami on Rue and it was fantastic! I am going back tomorrow morning to try their bagels. I highly recommend visiting this place. Such a friendly environment, we met Tim the owners son and was such a fantastic host. Two thumbs up! Looking forward to trying the Lox next!

Awful customer service. But this is just my personal experience over multiple visits. We've lived in the neighborhood for 27 years my husband has been a customer of theirs for almost a decade and more recently we have been craving bagels which leads to us frequenting here weekly for about a month (maybe two . Unfortunately they aren't the kindest people, and even after being wildly patient with them they overcharge and argue. This overcharge was egregious and not worth the fight they want to put up. Won't be going back. Bad energy. Take your business where you're appreciated and not lied to. If you're reading this, sending love. :

Fast service! The Ham, Egg and Cheese Croissant was excellent. The pretzel was one of the best I've ever had!! Would definitley come back !!

My lord this place is GOLD! I got the egg, cheese and salami on an onion bagel. As well as the most delicious biscuit I’ve ever had in my life!!! I’m tiny and can’t believe I at all of it. Extremely fresh and super wide range of ingredients and not greasy. Staff was awesome. Glad I found this place!
