I make the short trip down Broadway each Saturday morning to pick up breakfast tacos. My wife and I have lived in this area for 16 years and have tried them all, but Carmelitas has the best hands down. Homemade tortillas are the best. Refried beans are delish, Machado rocks, Barbacoa is great, and eggs Mexicana is perfect. They are not at all chinsy with their ingredients. Highly recommend.
They are the quickest draw in the west when it comes to my drive by bacon and egg taco pickup. By the way, it's real bacon strips with those cracked eggs. Friendly and fast service when you're in a hurry.
Great food, great service, friendly staff and the flour tortillas were amazing!
