When I ordered a slim brisket sandwich, each slice was full of fat. I also ordered a lentil salad, and not only were the lentils undercooked, but I also found a stone in one of my bites, which was concerning—I couldn’t finish it for fear of chipping a tooth. Paying $8 for an 8-ounce container that is only partially filled, only to find a stone in it, is unacceptable. The service is also frustrating. There are no waitstaff to assist; customers must serve themselves drinks and carry their own food to dirty tables in a hot, crowded terrace area. Why are we expected to tip for such service? Despite the potential for delicious food and an attempt to present a gourmet menu, the owners come across as greedy. Spending $50 on two brisket sandwiches, salty beans, over-spiced undercooked lentils, and a small portion of mac and cheese is far too much for the lack of customer service, dirty tables, and an old building without air conditioning.

We arrived just before the restaurant opened, and there was a short line ahead of us. Unfortunately, there were no indoor seating options, which was a bit disappointing given the Texas heat. I usually expect my meat to be tender enough that the bones fall right off. The brisket was good and sliced beautifully. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and the barbecue.

My partner and I visited this restaurant on our honeymoon, and we can honestly say it was the best BBQ we've ever had (and we are quite selective about what we consider good BBQ). Everything was fresh, juicy, and delicious! Each bite was just as flavorful as the one before. We are definitely planning to return, even if it means driving all the way from Alabama!

We starved and blessed some bbq ribs. we arrived here, based on the recommendations I saw here in yelp, and they were not wrong! this place is all they are looking for. on the quality without the decorations. the ribs were smoked for perfection and very tasteful. I wouldn't change anything.
