My children have multiple allergies, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It was our kids' first time at a fine dining restaurant, and it couldn't have gone better. They made sure to check on us and our kids throughout the meal, and it wasn't just one person—everyone on the team was fantastic. Oh, and the food was delicious! The duck fat Brussels sprouts were my favorite dish. Overall, it’s a very family-friendly place, and I highly recommend it.
We began with a couple of drinks from the bar—the Old Fashioned and Ranch Water were both expertly mixed. They served fresh bread accompanied by butter, olive oil, and some incredible spicy pickles. Honestly, I could have eaten a whole bowl of those pickles! I do wish the olive oil had some herbs infused in it. When our waiter returned, we decided to order the crab cakes, which turned out to be excellent—plump crabmeat that was seared and served with a delightful aioli. Next, we had the French Onion soup. For the main course, we ordered the New York Strip and a small filet, both cooked to perfection—medium rare plus. I really appreciated that our waiter made a suggestion, as I was indecisive about my cooking choice. I opted for truffle butter and blue cheese, which I enjoyed. However, I was a bit puzzled as to why the blue cheese was served on the side instead of being broiled on top. We also tried the honeyed sweet potato fries with yum yum sauce, which were a unique and tasty twist on fries. And I must give serious praise for the truffle cream corn—it was the best I’ve ever had! I truly appreciate it when the wait staff allows you to take your time, socialize, and savor each course of your meal. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and our experience lasted about an hour and a half. I will definitely be returning!
I absolutely loved this steakhouse! Our family visited while staying at the JW Marriott Resort, and we had a wonderful experience. We started with the lobster bisque, followed by a steak, asparagus, mashed potatoes, shrimp cocktail, and ended with the delectable bread pudding. Every dish was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The bread tray made for a fantastic appetizer, and the kids had a great time helping their dad choose his steak knife. We would definitely come back!
I had dinner with a large group, and I ordered the filet mignon, which was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was quite crowded, so the service was a bit slow. Given the size of our party, it’s possible that it contributed to the delay in the food being served.
The food is quite good, but be sure to bring your ski gear because it’s freezing inside! It's so cold that it can actually cause back pain. I enjoy a cooler atmosphere, but this was just too uncomfortable. Additionally, the waitstaff were extremely rude and unhelpful. I won’t be returning.
