My first time at Bibi's Place, I loved it immediately at first sight. The rastafarian colours painted benches trees etc, the music playing, and the gentle breeze of the Caribbean as you look out on the water, all conspired to a wonderful time.Lay out in the sun and enjoy the rays of the sun as your meal is perfectly prepared for you. Drink coco-locos and just RELAX! I love the fact that the fish is caught fresh and cooked right there for you and brought to your table piping hot and ready to dive in to. I WILL be back!!
Bibi makes an incredible dish of fish fillet topped with chopped seafood mixed in a sauce and poured over the fish fillet. It is one of the best seafood dishes I have had anywhere in the world !
I went back to BiBi's for a second year in a row. Had an AMAZING Black Snapper whole fried fish for lunch, Agua do Coco and took in the wind and water of the Island. If you want to go to get away from the main Island...a stop at BiBi's is a MUST!
My wife and I, at the advice of the owner's of the Sunset Hotel & Spa on San Andres, suggested that we spend the day that El Acuario and then wade over to Bibi's Place. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Bibi personally greeted us and welcomed us to his scenic restaurant and bar. We ordered two Pina Coladas which were come served in the traditional Coconut Shell. Before coming, I was told the fresh fish was the way to go, but I ordered something else Casuela de Mariscos (I should have listened). The soup was full of seafood but tasted very fishy and based on what all the other people were ordering for food that day, I see why the fish was highly recommended. The plates were full of fish and looked wonderful! My Wife ordered the only Chicken dish on the menu. You have to stop by and feel the vibe of the Caribbean by listening to Reggae, eating the local fresh fish and sipping on the tropical drinks. The ocean is absolutely gorgeous! I think I counted more than the 7 different shades of blue of the sea. Stunning! You won't be disappointed.
