Ask for Marcelo. I asked for the Rigatoni Palermitana, but wanted it in a cream sauce. He took care of us no problem. Unfortunately the kitchen messed up, and forgot to include the capers olives! I told Marcelo, and he was back in record time with a side of them for me. DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend his service and this incredible street side ristorante in Little Italy (San Diego)

Delicious food and superb service from our waitress Margaret. The atmosphere was great and our group had a good time dining, every one's dish was as delicious as the other. We will definitely be back there again.

Food is good but it doesn't bring with any bread. Prices is expensive compare with the small plates.

Great Italian restaurant on Little Italy street. If you're confused with the various itlaian restaurants on this street, I can vouch for Nonna! The description is perfect: comfort Italian food : We got the Rigatoni Boscaiola and Pollo piccata. The vodka sauce in the Rogatoni was fabulous. Walking away from the restaurant, my friends and I were joking about how they wouldn't have to wash the utensils that rigatoni was served in because we had not wasted a drop of that sauce . We also loved the Piccata. The veggies, mashed potato and the limey flavours of the chicken and capers complimented each other perfectly.
