Tosca Café - San Andreas

$30 for a plate of pasta, it should be perfect. instead it was completely under season and the part was minuscule. service was fantastic.

We had a wonderful evening. the food was a pleasure. we liked the server, they did a good job, but we found ourselves waiting too long between the curses.

With people like nancy oaks behind the restaurant I had very high expectations and had already been looking forward to the tosca cafe for some time as a special restaurant. I'm embarrassed now that I insisted to my friend that we go to her birthday party dinner last night. it was such an expensive and great disappointment that I plan to tell everyone I know to avoid tosca cafe. Apart from the fact that it was ridiculously expensive for what we got, it was moderate — at best. it was and was always a great place for a drink. so I will still stop for a martini before dinner and then one of the many other places in the neighbourhood for better, cheaper eating and wein.

Wonderful old time that sf never change. attentive staff, amazing cocktails, excellent eating. somehow it is a time-warp, timeless and before the time at once.
