Omni Colonnade Holiday Brunch

The meal was okay, but I had to repeatedly ask for assistance from the waitstaff. I was surprised by an additional service charge on top of my tip. I would not suggest having another Thanksgiving meal at this restaurant.

This restaurant is not worth the price of $65 plus 25% gratuity. It feels like a mix between Golden Corral and a budget wedding in a noisy ballroom. The menu includes turkey, ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes, dressing, salad, and frozen cheesecake. The breads and muffins were all packaged products, and my cornbread muffin was cold in the middle. I would recommend skipping this place. The server was pleasant and working hard, so we tipped him extra.

We have been going to this restaurant for the past 5 years at Christmas time. However, this year was a huge letdown, especially considering the high price of $161 for two people! In the past, there was a large dessert area with many options, but this year it was moved outside and had very limited selections. By the time we got there at 12:30, most of the desserts were already gone and there was a long line of people trying to get something before they ran out. The food selection overall was also very poor compared to previous years. It seems like there may be new management who has drastically cut back on what used to be a grand dining experience. Many customers were openly complaining about the changes as well. Due to this disappointing experience, we do not plan on returning in the future.

I was so very disappointed in this year's Christmas brunch. I made reservations over the phone with the Food Service manager for both Thanksgiving and Christmas brunches. I registered one elderly and one adult, but upon arrival for both brunches, I was being charged for two adults instead. The atmosphere was nice though the volume of voices was too high. Thanksgiving Brunch was so much better then Christmas. Our Christmas food was lukewarm and for the cost, not really worth it. We will not be returning to Omni Hotel in the future.

Meal was decent, I had to fly the waiters several times. I was charged a service fee above my tipp, which I did not expect. I wouldn't recommend another Thanksgiving menu there.
