Mar del Caribe - San Andreas

Absolutely go here! I am from Atlanta, GA and was in Puerto Rico for a wedding. I wanted to take my wife out to a beautiful dinner, and this place far exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic. This is definitely a local place, but you will be so happy you got off tourist row to eat here

I had searched for a restaurant that was known for its Puerto Rican food that would be away from old town. Arriving at this restaurant I became a bit skeptical by its outward appearance but, as the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. Once inside, there is a warm decor, crisp table linens and a very attentive staff. And then we get to the food. The chicken stuffed with sweet plantains and cheese with a heavenly mustard sauce was outstanding. This is clearly a favorite of locals because we were the only tourists. Please find your way here when you are visiting. You will not be disappointed

The skirt steak was tender and delicious and an ample portion. Also had seafood soup which was wonderful. A place to go to when I’m Sam Juan
