Imperial House - San Andreas

The restaurant opens at 6 PM, so please make sure to arrive on time. We got there early and opted to wait in the bar. The food was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and one of the best we've ever tasted. We will definitely be coming back for dinner in the dining room!

I visited this restaurant which is more of a dive bar that serves steak, but I was disappointed to find out that half of their menu items were unavailable. The bar, seating, and overall restaurant were unclean, and the old-fashioned music playing seemed to reflect the outdated decor. I will not be returning and I recommend others to steer clear of this restaurant if they want good food and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

The staff was outstanding and the steaks were cooked to perfection. However, the side dishes were overpriced and lacked flavor. Additionally, the small portions of the side dishes did not provide good value for the price.

Furthermore, I had a perfectly prepared steak (which is a rarity nowadays) and it was delicious. The dining room had a charming old-world feel that we enjoyed, and the service was excellent. While it wasn't the most inexpensive steak dinner in San Diego, it was definitely worth it for the quality of the meal. We will definitely be returning.

Imperial served one of the best steaks I’ve had in years. It was prime grade strip expertly seared to medium rare plus as I requested, and well seasoned with a balanced blend of salt, pepper, and perhaps some garlic salt. Sides of mashed and al a carte asparagus were luxurious and fresh. The resturant was almost empty on a Friday Night, which was odd, since the “old school” decor consisting of plush deep seated high back leather arm chairs, wood paneled room with opulent crown molding and art work beautifully complements the equally opulent fully stocked bar on other side of foyer.
