I had veal with mushrooms, my friends had pasta. Veal and the garnish were dull. I guess pasta was better, but nothing special. The service was friendly, the location is good. But I will definitely look for another place to eat next time.
Delicious food. the prices are reasonable. it is a well established restaurant and the ambiente reflects its old. there is a lot of charm along with excellent service. the first time and we will definitely return.
We had not visited il borgo before we often go to places near the sinfoniehalle or opernhaus. as this was on a Monday evening, our usual places were closed. il borgo is a short walk on the fell street at a corner. when we first arrived, we became some of the decoration, faded tablecloths and need a lacquer order. after having been bred by the owner's wife, it immediately came to the right way. they and their man are from italy and the restaurant food shows it. great eating and service. my advice is forgetting the facility and enjoying the food. great!
