Hane Sushi is delicious. We went here last night for dinner and had AMAZING service and food. The sushi came out quickly and while we waited we had some tasty smooth unfiltered sake and appetizers. The best sushi ? roll of the night was easily the Ceviche Roll which I highly recommend you try. You can also order the stuffed tomato! I can't wait to come back here with my wife and eat here again since we had a fantastic time.
The whole set up of the place is weird- no waiting area inside or outside. We reserved the table by walking in, we were told 45min wait time (Friday evening) which was understandable but at the same time half of the tables were empty (couple next to each other which I doubt due to the social distancing as other tables were seated next to each other), management of tables weren't very good. We waited inside right on the side of the path were people were walking in and out which made bit awkward. The food was ok, rolls were very simple (2 or 3 ingredients), small portions for the price. Food was fresh and well presented though. The outside area looked very cosy and romantic but we were seated right next to the table occupied by 4 guests who were clearly too intoxicated and loud and when they asked for more alcohol, they were served so we left pretty fast after we ate as it felt uncomfortable. Could be really nice place to eat if it would be managed more appropriately.
Top notch sushi restaurant in Banker's Hill. Unique specialty rolls (highly recommend the Ceviche roll) and melt-in-your-mouth sashimi. Outdoor dining is nicely done with enough heat lamps to keep you cozy. Can't wait to go back!
Loud and alive for lunch. Reservations were probably a good idea, but there were places. Ambience is okay, but definitely noisy. Sushi is pretty solid. Had something nitrile and a role. Try the golden eyes Snapper, Uni and Toro. Rolls are good, but a bit on the big side circumference wise. Friendly chefs, but a little understated at the moment when it comes to waiters. In vain for lunch, but could be a problem at dinner. One of our favorite sushi spots in town.
