Fringale - San Andreas

Tried this with a group of friends for Dine About Town promotion. Just about the only time I’ll drag myself out to nicer places. ; It’s located in Soma near a bunch of warehouses and really close to 80. The place is small and cute. There are only a few tables and the staff is always very attentive. It’s classic french food done well. I would go back again when they’re not doing DAT promotion because the prices aren’t that much more.

This is a cute and intimate restaurant. The Foie Gras with date spread is delicious. Australian seabass has a tasty sauce. Price is decent for French restaurant! Good experience in general.

Good value restaurant. Serves mostly french food, but has a grilled calamari appetizer dish that has a very asian flavor to it. They also have perhaps the best Steak Frites in the city – mmm, I can still taste that delicious red wine butter sauce.

A great restaurant to go for a moderately upscale meal. The service was perfect and the food was good, but it wasn't exceptional which is why I left it as a four star instead of a five star. My favorite part of the meal were the desserts. Most restaurants make their desserts way too sweet, but Fringale's were just the right amount. Their creme brulee was the star of the night.

Quaint, cozy, French. Food was delicious. The wine list is not tremendously expansive but you should certainly find something you'll enjoy. Good local spot that's been around for many years in the heart of SoMa.
