Denny's - San Andreas

I love coming to this location with my mom every Friday to catch up. Calm environment, fast service and always get taken care of by Estrella. Wonderful waitress, very attentive and sweet !

I visited this Denny's today with my family, a place we've been coming to for many years. Unfortunately, today was one of the worst experiences I've had. Our server, Beatriz, made several mistakes during our visit. It started when an older gentleman with glasses, who seated us, asked if we'd like something to drink. We requested a water and a green smoothie, but they never arrived. Later, Beatriz checked on us, and we mentioned our drinks again. She assured us they would be brought out, but they never came. When it came time to order, I asked for a strawberry pancake, but I was only served a banana pancake. Meanwhile, I noticed that other customers around us were being treated more attentively and with friendlier service, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I ended up taking the rest of my meal to go. To top it off, when I checked my receipt before leaving, I noticed I had been charged for the green smoothie that I never received. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund, but overall, this experience was disappointing and frustrating.

I usually order to go but today I randomly decided to sit and eat. My server Maria B. was nothing but the best, BRAVO ZULU! This review was from 5yrs ago) However today's 4th Aug 2024) review will be much different. I made an online order to the location stated with an order number of 28691540568588296. I received an online confirmation and a deduction from my credit card. Upon arriving to the location at 8:30pm when my order should have already been stated to be ready at 7:25pm. The host at the cash registered informs me she has no order ticket for my order. I then ask her what is the location address. As I have lived in the city for years and I'm aware there are many Dennys all this particular stretch of road. The host proceeds to tell me the address is 7979 Friars road and I tell her she's in correct and pulls out my gps to show her I'm in the right location of 10430 Friars rd. I even typed in what she believes the address to be and show her it doesn't correlate to any Dennys. I then call the phone number of the location 10430 Friars rd and I proceed to watch her answer the phone only to realize it's me. She then admits to she doesn't know the correct address to this location and say it is her first day there. I love Dennys and have for years but I spent $26.49 to be told my order doesn't exist. Please help correct this issues so I may continue to enjoy your fine establishment once again, thank you. Update 9Aug24) Management reached out, resolved the entire situation and apologized for the inconvenience. Now I can enjoy my omelets again!

5 of us went for dinner at 5:30 on a Wednesday and it was very quiet. Food was great. Don't forget your AARP card for a discount.

Monica and Brandon are rock stars , excellent service, always pleasant, always professional, kind and they are both great to have conversations with.
