Waited nearly 30 minutes for a take away sandwich. Left without receiving it. Cafe empty, had only a few takeaway coffee orders. Chef cutting up slices for display cabinet but couldn't be bothered to toast a sandwich that I paid top dollar for. POOR SERVICE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
We have been a number of times for coffee, lovely sitting out near the plants etc around the side. Def one of the nicer coffee places in the village to go and sit at.
The staff are always quick to take the order and are very pleasant and friendly while being efficient. The food is always good. I have eaten a lot of cafe food during the past three years, and at Spokes, it is way better than most. The chef is excellent. The menu is not large but it contains most items people want and you can ask for a special combination, if you want one. Spokes is popular with fitness enthusiasts, and also as a quiet place in the garden where you can have a good talk.
Out on motorcycles today and 4 of us pulled into this parking lot to determine where to get out breakfast. In pointed over at this cafe so we all got off and went in. First of all, heaps of parking on a Sunday. Nice bench type seating outside and garden seating outdoors as well as seating indoors. Two of had the egg and bacon roll, one had eggs Benedict and the other eggs on toast. All the food was brought out to us. It all look amazing. My egg and bacon roll as fantastic. My guess its with their own bbq sauce recipe because it was not ordinary. Delicious. No complaints and a lovely staff. Try it out if you stop in the village or are out on the bikes! Cheers.
