This place has a stunning vista. You can rarely see such a great panorama with that little effort. Just take the horse carriage back and forth if you don’t want to hike.
Stopped in for lunch at the midpoint of a long walk in Val Roseg, and had a good beer and a plate of delicious ravioli al pesto on the sun deck. Pricier than the self-service eatery inside, but on a sunny day, worth it, I think. Good service.
An extremely suggestive place both in summer and in winter. I suggest you reach it on foot from Pontresina, an hour and a half walk through the simple path that crosses a truly enchanted forest. For return, you can use the typical horse-drawn sleds. The restaurant offers traditional dishes presented and cooked with care and craft, the staff is extremely friendly and there is an excellent choice of menus dedicated to the young. Don't miss the dessert buffet. a real ecstasy for eyes and palate!
For 30 years, all summers with friends and relatives, repeatably, there was the rite to come to this restaurant to get the cup of berries with cream or cream. On Sunday the myth broke, all replaced by a glass mesh containing unsapori strawberries, blueberries and raspberries probably purchased at the coop. The final surprise was the account for a smooth mesh, one with a kind of zabaione and a slice of 45 franc cake.
